∙ This product complies with all binding CE labelling
directives.
Before using for the first time
∙ Remove any packaging materials and stickers from the
appliance.
∙ Remove the four silicone hoses on the cross struts
of the heating element too.
∙ Clean the grill, water pan and wind-guard in hot water
and dry thoroughly.
∙ Assemble the appliance as described in Preparing the
unit.
∙ Let the grill heat up for approximately 10 minutes at
maximum power without any food (see Grilling). This
will remove the smell typically encountered when first
switching on a grill. A little smoke may be emitted; for
that reason, adequate ventilation should be ensured by
opening windows or balcony doors; an extractor hood is
also suitable.
Grill assembly
∙ Assemble the grill as shown in the diagrams:
∙ Place the water pan in the housing.
∙ Place the heating element with the connection box in
the water pan. The device is equipped with a safety
switch. If the connection box is not installed correctly,
the device cannot be brought into operation.
∙ Put on the grill.
∙ Insert the side catches on the wind-guard first and
then the rear catches into the openings on the water
pan (only for outdoor operation).
Base stand assembly
∙ For grill models with base stand, assemble the stand as
shown in the diagram:
∙ Place the four plastic feet on the four support legs.
∙ Insert the support legs into the U-supports.
∙ Attach the cross braces and tighten them with the
eight screws and wing nuts.
∙ Insert the storage rack.
∙ Ensure that the stand is stable.
∙ Place the assembled grill on top.
Preparing the unit
∙ Assemble the appliance as described in Grill assembly.
For grill models with base stand, refer to Base stand
assembly.
∙ Fill the water pan with water up to the "Max" marking
(maximum 1.1 litres). Water must never be poured
directly onto the heating element.
Hint!
When using the barbecue, top up the water in the water
pan regularly to make up for evaporation. Always unplug
the device before doing this!
∙ Connect the appliance to the mains.
∙ The unit is ready for use.

caused to the reflector tray by incorrect cleaning,
the guarantee will no longer be valid.

the power supply and has completely cooled down.
∙ Do not use metallic pads or abrasive cleaning agents.
∙ Remove the wind screen and the grill and rinse them in
water, leave to soak if necessary.
