3. Signs and Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g.
danger of an electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in hand-
ling, operating and control.

The hand symbol indicates special advice and operating information.
4. Safety Notices
The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with these operating instructions! We will not
assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for personal injury or damage to
property caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the
safety instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is
void.
• The system components must not be modified or converted, as not
only the CE approval will become void, but also the warranty.
• The system components may not be exposed to extreme tempera-
tures, direct sunlight, moisture, intense vibration or heavy mechani-
cal strain.
• The operation of this digital recorder in combination with a surveil-
lance camera is no substitute for your responsibility to supervise
children or other people in need of special care. It only serves as a
support.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the system components require
a certain time to stabilise and adjust to the ambient temperature
before it can be operated.
