3. Place the end of the workpiece against the

Transportation (Fig. F)
Make sure the extension arms have been put into
to the most compact position (refer to 'Adjusting
The Extension Arms'). Now fold the stand as
described in 'Folding the stand'. Use the carrying
handle (8) placed in the centre of the frame (9).
5. MAINTENANCE
The mitre saw stand is designed to
function faultlessly for a long period and
with a minimum of maintenance. Extend
its lifespan by regularly cleaning the
machine and treating it correctly.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the mitre saw stand, preferably
after each use. Clean with a suitable proprietary
house- hold cleaner and a soft dry cloth. Do not
submerge your mitre saw stand in water or any
liquid for any reason. Do not use solvents (petrol,
alcohol, ammonia, etc.) as they will damage the
plastic parts.
Maintenance
Never use a damaged or broken clamping mitre
saw stand. Temporary repairs are not permitted.
Check the plastic feet of the mitre saw stand
before and after use of the mitre saw stand. Do
not use the mitre saw stand without the plastic
feet or when the plastic feet are worn. Always
maintain a visual control of the mitre saw stand
before and after use of the mitre saw stand.
Repairs and maintenance shall be carried out by
a competent person with suitable replacement
parts. Unapproved third party spares are not
recommended and will void your warranty.
