2. Now insert a extension arm knob (6) into
the corresponding hole on the frame turn it
clockwise to secure the extension arm (4) in
place, as shown on figure B.
3. Insert a workpiece support (2) into the collar
on the extension arm (4). The side with the end
stop (5) should be facing inwards towards the
centre of the stand.
4. Insert a workpiece support knob (3) into the
extension arm (4) and turn it clockwise to
tighten the workpiece support (2) into place.
5. Repeat the same procedure with the opposite
extension arm.
Attaching the mitre saw mounting bars (Fig. C)
Only use a mitre saw that has four fixing
holes (one in each corner of the base) on
this stand. If the mitre saw does not meet
this requirement, do not use it with this
stand as the mitre saw cannot be
properly secured. Failure to follow this
direction may result in damage to
property and/or personal injury.
1. Press the mounting bar lever (14) and hook the
opposite end of the mounting bar (7) onto the
frame (9) of the stand, as shown on figure C.
2. Lower the mounting bars (7) onto the frame
and release them to lock the mounting bar into
place.
3. Repeat the same procedure with the other
mounting bar.
Attaching A Mitre Saw (Fig. D, E)
During operation and before starting a
new job, ensure that all screws and nuts
are tightened correctly and securely.
1. Adjust the mounting bars (7) to roughly the
width of the mitre saw base.
2. Place the mitre saw on the mounting bars (7)
and line up the holes in the mitre saw base
with the slots on the mounting bars (7).
3. Feed a bolt through the bottom of the
mounting bar (7) then through the base of the
mitre saw.
4. Slide a washer and then a spring washer onto
the bolt and fasten it with a nut.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other four holes
on the mitre saw base.
Do not mount a table saw on this miter
saw stand. Aggressive feeding of sheet
materials into the table saw could cause
the stand to tip over.
4. OPERATION
Do not use the mitre saw stand until it is
completely assembled and you have
read and understood this entire manual
and the manual of the tool being used
with this mitre saw stand.
Do not use the mitre saw stand for
scaffolding or as a ladder. Make sure to
securely tighten all fasteners before use.
Maximum capacity is 150kg. Power tools
on the mitre saw stand should not
exceed a combined overall height of
150cm from the floor.
Adjusting The Extension Arms (Fig. B, F)
1. Turn the extension arm knob (6) on the frame
counter-clockwise to loosen it.
2. Pull the extension arm (4) out to the desired
length. Note: The maximum extension length
is indicated on the extension arm (4). Do not
extend further than the maximum length.
3. Turn the extension arm knob (6) clockwise to
tighten it and secure the extension arm into
place.
Adjusting The Roller Height (Fig. F, G)
1. Turn the workpiece support knob (3) on
the collar of the extension arm (4) counter-
clockwise to loosen it.
2. Raise or lower the roller (1) to the desired
height.
3. Turn the workpiece support knob (3) clockwise
to tighten it and secure the roller (1) into place.
Using The end stop (Fig. B, F)
The mitre saw stand features end stops (5) which
allow repetitive cuts to be made quickly and
accurately.
1. Adjust the height of the workpiece support (2)
so that the lip of the end stop (5) is in line with
the work surface of the mitre saw.
2. Adjust the extension arms (4) to the desired
cutting length.
