3.4 appliance installation and fi nishing
1. Remove the front decorative cover held in place by 2 magnets (Fig. 3-1).
2. With one hand on the glass door to prevent it from falling, remove the 2 screws holding the glass door in
place (Fig. 3-2). Remove the glass door, and then place it face down on a soft, non-abrasive surface.
3. Remove all boxes packed inside the appliance (see "unpacking and testing appliance" section).
note:
If intending to recess the appliance into a wall or mantel and have it hard-wired, continue with steps 4-8. Other-
wise, skip ahead to step 9.
4. Remove side brick panels by removing 2 screws from each side (Fig. 3-3). Set the screws and panels aside
(Fig. 3-4).
5. Complete hard-wiring (see "electrical information" section).
