TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The burner does not
ignite.
The burner fails to stay
on.
Potential cause
The control knob is not
in its maximum position
(large flame).
The gas cylinder valve
is closed.
Or: The gas cylinder is
empty.
The injector (injection
nozzle) is clogged.
Low gas pressure
Air in the gas circuit
The igniter does not
work.
Dirt deposits in the
burner area.
Low flame or no
complete flame circle
around the burner. Low
gas pressure.
The thermocouple does
not work properly.
Low gas pressure.
Potential solution
Rotate the control
knob to the maximum
position (large flame).
Open the gas cylinder
valve.
Replace the gas
cylinder.
Clean or replace the
injector.
Replace the gas
cylinder with a new
one.
Open the gas supply
and vent the gas line
(by pressing the control
knob) for not longer
than 1 minute, or until
you smell gas.
Ignite the burner with
a match. Replace the
battery or replace the
igniter.
Clean the area
surrounding the burner.
The flame-spreader
holes are partially
blocked. Clean the
burner.
Replace the
thermocouple.
Replace the gas
cylinder with a new
one.
