SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Behaviour in the event of a gas odour
1. Turn off the gas bottle valve.
2. Extinguish open flames.
3. Do not attempt to ignite a device.
4. Do not touch light switches in the vicinity and do not use a telephone in
the immediate vicinity.
5. Leave the area and call the gas supplier from your mobile phone.
6. Follow the instructions of the gas supplier.
7. If the gas supplier cannot be reached, contact the fire brigade.
General safety instructions
WARNING
Danger of fire and explosion! Non-compliance with the
instructions, safety instructions and precautions contained in
these operating instructions can lead to fires and explosions
which can cause damage to property and personal injury or
death.

The appliance is intended for outdoor use only. Never place it on tables!
•
Incorrect installation, modification, maintenance or servicing of the unit
may result in damage to property and/or personal injury. Before installing,
using or servicing the appliance, read the entire instruction manual and
especially all warnings and safety instructions.

Failure to follow the instructions given in this instruction manual exactly
may result in fire or explosion, causing property damage and or personal
injury or death.

Keep these operating instructions for future use of the device. If you are
installing the unit for another person, leave the operating instructions with
that person afterwards.

The following minimum distances must be maintained between the
appliance and easily combustible materials: 1.80 m to the top and 0.90 m
to all sides (including the rear) of the appliance.

Never place the appliance under unprotected, easily combustible surfaces.
•
This appliance must only be installed outdoors in adequately ventilated
areas and must not be used inside buildings, garages or other enclosed
areas.
•
Never use the appliance for heating indoors. Toxic carbon monoxide fumes
could accumulate and lead to asphyxiation.
•
Never leave the device unattended while in use.
•
Never use the unit at a distance of less than 2.50 m from walls, objects or
buildings.
•
The appliance may only be stored indoors when the gas bottle has been
removed from the appliance.
•
To protect your hands, it is best to use protective gloves when you want to
move the appliance.
