3. Installation
Please select an adequate location for installation. Make sure that the unit is 2m (6.6ft) or more above the ground
when mounting the unit on a wall. The unit is suited for wall, corner and ceiling mounting. Remember that the
detection range can only be adjusted once you have completed the wire connections. Mount the unit with the
supplied screws and plastic fixing plugs.
STEP 1 (see also figure 1 on p. 2 !)
Loosen the top screw and open the housing. Unscrew the PCB and remove it. The lower half of the housing is
equipped with 4 fixing holes. There is also an elliptical hole for the wiring.
Break through the elliptical hole (P7 in fig. 1 on p. 2) and insert the sponge in the hole. This can prevent foreign
objects from getting in.
- With wall mounting : pierce the upper (P5) and lower (P6) hole on the lower half of the housing.
- With corner mounting : pierce the two holes on the upper left (P1) and lower right (P4)
- Mounting in the 90° angle formed by ceiling and wall : pierce the two holes on the upper right (P4) and lower left
(P2).
