Step 7: Adjust the Cutting Height.
Using the Cutting Height Lever located under the Access Cover (Figure 20), adjust the Cutting Height so that you cut off only
one (1) to two (2) inches of grass at a time.
1.
Open the Access Cover.
2.
Make sure all four (4) Wheels are level.
3.
Push the Lever out of its present notched position and move
the Lever up or down to the desired level. When you reach the
desired level, simply release the Lever into the notch.
To easily move the Cutting Height Lever, place a hand
TIP
on top of the machine and press downwards while
adjusting to a lower height adjustment position.
Each position adjusts the Mower's Blade level to a different Cutting
Height. Pushing the Cutting Height Lever towards Position 1 cuts
more grass (which leaves your grass shorter); pushing the Lever
towards Position 4 cuts less grass (leaving your grass longer).
The following table lists the final cut grass heights.
Lever Position Cut Height
1
1.2" (3.0 cm)
2
1.5" (3.8 cm)
3
2.0" (5.1 cm)
4
3.0" (7.6 cm)
Feature:
Analog Voltage Gauge
The Analog Voltage Gauge (Figure 21) indicates the amount of
Battery life remaining. The yellow area indicates acceptable
voltage whereas the red area indicates low voltage. You should
raise the Cutting Height or mow slower if the Gauge momentarily
drops into the red area. Recharge the Battery if the Gauge stays in
the red area.
