  • Page 9 The MP1’s only intended use is with static bicycle trainers. The MP1 is not intended for use with trainers that also incorporate movement. • Do not modify the MP1.   • Page 13 The MP1 ships with six retention straps. Four straps are for securing a trainer to the MP1(In most cases only two are necessary. See trainer fit guide at saris.com/MP1). Two straps are for securing the front wheel of your bicycle to the wheel block. For the best experience, setup your MP1 on a clean, non-slippery, and level surface.

Wheel-on trainers will generally use the rearmost channels, with straps securing the trainer’s rear feet. Direct drive trainers will use retention straps on the front legs. Tighten retention strap hardware with allen key and then secure the straps around the trainer.

Dismount bike and adjust straps and leveling feet as needed.
  • Page 31 Before each ride, check the MP1 straps and hardware, as well as your bike’s quick release skewers and/or thru axles, to make sure that they are still secure. After each ride, wipe down MP1 deck to remove any sweat and help protect MP1 finish. The MP1 finish is not covered by warranty.
