TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
○ To avoid injury from an accidental start, turn the switch OFF and remove the plug from the power source or remove the
battery from the main body before making any adjustments.
○ All electrical or mechanical repairs should be done only by qualifi ed service technicians. Contact HiKOKI Authorized

1. Power tool
Problem
Tool doesn't run
Tool suddenly stopped
Doesn't cut well
Switch can't be pulled
Battery cannot be installed
h < 2.5 m/s
2
Possible Cause
No remaining battery power
Battery isn't fully installed.
Tool was overburdened
Battery or tool overheated
The bit is worn or missing teeth.
The collet chuck is loose.
ON/OFF Lock button is pushed in
Attempting to install a battery other than that
specifi ed for the tool.
The declared vibration total value and the declared noise
emission value have been measured in accordance with a
standard test method and may be used for comparing one
tool with another.
They may also be used in a preliminary assessment of
exposure.
WARNING
○ The vibration and noise emission during actual use
of the power tool can diff er from the declared total
value depending on the ways in which the tool is used
especially what kind of workpiece is processed; and
○ Identify safety measures to protect the operator that
are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual
conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the
operating cycle such as the times when the tool is
switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the
trigger time).
NOTE
Due to HiKOKI's continuing program of research and
development, the specifi cations herein are subject to
change without prior notice.
Charge the battery.
Push the battery in until you hear a click.
Get rid of the problem causing the
overburden.
During operation, lighten the applied
pressure.
Allow the tool and battery to thoroughly cool.
Replace with a new bit.
Firmly tighten the collet chuck.
Release the ON/OFF Lock button.
Please install a multi volt type battery.
