8. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
SOLUTION
As the compressor kicks in, the unit will vibrate and buzz
slightly. This is normal.
Remove the mixing spatula and turn the selector knob to
. The appliance will stop rotating and will only cool,
making the ice harder. Check the consistency periodically
until you get the desired result. If you replace the milk with
fatty cream, the ice cream will automatically thicken.
Turn off the appliance and remove the mixing spatula. The
ice could have become too hard, causing the appliance to
go into safety. This will cause the mixing spatula to stop
rotating.
The colder the ingredients, the faster you will have ice
cream. Warm preparations obviously take longer, since
they have a higher temperature. Ambient temperature can
also be important.
There are endless recipes on the Internet. By doing, you will
learn to work with your appliance. Cream with a high fat
percentage usually gives better results as well.
Smooth your preparation into a storage jar. Then cover
with foil, up to the preparation.
It could be that moisture has run under the removable
bowl causing it to freeze slightly. Grasp the handle and
shake gently until the bowl loosens.
