Steam connection
 There is a risk of injury due to hot steam.
The steam connection may only be carried out by an authorized in-
stallation technician.
When connecting steam-heated Miele machines, these installation
instructions, the information from the data plate, the wiring dia-
gram, the installation plan, and the documentation accompanying
the machine must also be noted and complied with.
Steam-heated Miele machines are available in the following models:
- High-pressure steam, indirect (HP indir.)
- High-pressure steam, direct (HP dir.)
- Low-pressure steam (LP dir.)

For efficiency, the operating pressures must not fall below the speci-
fied values.
The machines must not be connected to a hot oil circulation sys-
tem.
Fitting information for steam and condensate hoses
- Ensure that the hoses are not twisted or compressed.
- Do not use steam and condensate hoses to compensate for gas
lines.
