For L18H, L30H
hours playback
• Press the TIME MODE
button until the front
display shows L18H or
L30H.
• Tape is played back at a
slower speed than the L6H
playback.
• You can not hear normal
sound from the L18H/L30H
hours-recorded tape.
• Noise may occur on the
screen.
• To view a clean picture,
choose the L6H playback
or slow playback mode.

Still picture
Press the P/STILL button
to view a still picture
• Then you can not hear the
sound.
• Do not leave the picture in
pause for long periods of
time as it may cause
damage to the video head
and the tape.
• When the picture is
continually paused for about
five minutes, the tape is
played automatically.
• When the picture trembles
up and down, press the V-
LOCK
buttons for de
proper adjustment.
To return to normal playback
• Press the PLAY button to
return to normal playback.

To view the still
picture frame by frame
• Press the P/STILL button.
• Sound will not be heard.
• Turn the JOG dial to view frame
by frame playback.
• Press the PLAY button to return
to normal playback.
