2. Intended Use
This surveillance system has been supplied with two IP44 protected cameras. The
TFT monitor supplied has a card slot for SD memory cards (max. 1 GB, SDHC
cards are supported). This allows the user to save the displayed camera images
directly onto the SD card (1GB memory card capacity = approx. 70 minutes record-
ing time at 10 frames per second).
The clear 7" TFT monitor and the user-friendly formatted OSD (=On Screen Dis-
play) complete this high quality system.
The camera features infrared LEDs for night vision. Please note that the images
turn from colour to black/white with increasing darkness and the resulting activation
of the IR-LEDs.
The TFT monitor and the plug in mains power unit and the remote control provided
are approved for operation in dry, enclosed rooms only. The supplied cameras are
suited for outdoor installation (IP44).
The monitor and the cameras may only be supplied with power from the plug in
mains power units supplied with the set.
Please note that you are committing a crime if you observe or record others with this
surveillance system without their knowledge and consent.
Any use other than the one described above will damage the product. Moreover,
this involves other dangers such as short-circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of this product may be modified or rebuilt.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
