without scart connection resp. a second video recorder
can be connected to the audio output jacks (11) and to the
video output jack (12). If necessary, a corresponding a-
daptor (e. g. MONACOR VC-162) must be inserted.
3) If the sound of the audio/video source is to be reproduced
via a HiFi system, connect the HiFi system to the audio
output jacks (11).
If the TV sound of the TV set connected to the scart jack
(4) is to be reproduced via a HiFi system, connect the HiFi
system to the audio output jacks (9).
4) If the sound and picture of the audio/video source are to
be reproduced via an additional second TV set/monitor,
connect the TV set/monitor to the audio output jacks (11)
and to the video output jack (12).
If the TV sound and picture of the TV set connected to the
scart jack (4) are to be reproduced via an additional sec-
ond TV set/monitor, connect the TV set/monitor to the au-
dio output jacks (9) and the video output jack (10).
5 Operation
5.1 Reproducing mode
1) Switch on the TV set/monitor resp. set it to standby mode.
Switch on the audio/video source to be reproduced.
2) TV sets which are not automatically switched to audio/vid-
eo operation via the connected additional unit, must be set
to audio/video operation manually (see operating instruc-
tions of the TV set).
3) To select a connected audio/video source, push the corre-
sponding switch (8).
4) To end the reproduction, switch off the units.

5.2 Recording mode

1) Switch on the units to be used for dubbing. The recording
video recorders - connected to scart jack 1 and/or to the
audio and video outputs (11) and (12) - must be set to
recording mode.
