4.2- Connecting the evacuation hose
1. Screw the universal fitting (connector) (4) provided onto the pump outlet elbow (Fig.1).
2. Wedge the discharge hose on to the connection section corresponding to the internal diameter of
the hose (Fig.2).
3. Add a fixing collar (hose clamp not supplied) to complete the seal.
N.B.: For large diameter hoses and to obtain the optimum discharge output, it will be necessary to cut
the end of the universal fitting (4) so as to only keep the section suitable for the hose used (Fig.3).

4.3- Sensor switch
The sensor switch (1) enables the automatic start of the pump.
The sensor switch (1) has four positions:
- 1 position for "manual" or permanent use:
This position allows starting and stopping the pump by
connecting the plug to the mains.
In this position, the water level must be greater than 5mm.
The pump will suck water up to 1mm.
To stop the pump, pull out the sensor switch or pull the power
plug.
- 3 positions for automatic functioning use:
This will allow the start of the pump according to the set level.
In position 1: detection height 35 to 50mm
In position 2: detection height 68 to 85mm
In position 3: detection height 100 to 125mm
The pump will start 1s after sensor detects water.
The pump will stop 3 minutes after sensor no longer detects
water.
4.4- Start-up
Note: Before use, clear the outlet line
Observe and respect minimum water level and max delivery height
1. The pump must be in a vertical position: ensure that it is stable during operation.
2. Ensure that sensor switch is set to desired position.
3. The suction holes must never be obstructed. It is therefore preferable that the pump should never be
placed directly on the ground or on the bottom of the well, pond or vessel.
For example, use a brick to support the pump.
