3. Safety Notes

To learn how to operate your product safely, you must read all
instructions and warnings in the operating instructions and become
familiar with using the device.
You must strictly adhere to every warning and precautionary measure
described in the product user documentation.
Warning – RISK OF INJURY AND DEATH
• This electric device is not a vehicle authorised for operation on
public roads or streets.
Loss of control, collision and falling can pose a risk of death
or serious injury during use. To minimise the risk of injury, you
must read and follow all instructions and warnings in the user
documentation.
Always wear high-quality protective clothing while using the
product, such as a safety helmet, knee and elbow pads,
gloves and sturdy shoes.
• Keep adequate distance from others, particularly if you are not
familiar with the device.
• Do not overestimate yourself. Accelerate slowly and maintain a
foresighted driving style to prevent falling.
• NEVER drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and only use it
in a dry environment.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
• This product is not intended for use by persons, including children, with
limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lacking in experience or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or have been instructed on how to use the product.
• Children are not permitted to play with the device. Children may not
clean the device.
• Connect the product only to a socket that has been approved for the
device. The electrical socket must always be easily accessible.
• Since the battery is integrated and cannot be removed, you will need to
dispose of the product as a whole. Do this in compliance with the legal
requirements.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any
service work, with the exception of such cases described in 9, to
qualified technicians.
• Opening the device or removing the attached seals voids the warranty
• Do not open the product. Do not continue to operate the product if it
is damaged, which may be indicated by smoke, odour or loud noises.
Immediately contact your dealer or our service department (see item
"Service and Support").

4. Areas of application and performance limits

4.1. Areas of application

Note
• This product is not permitted for use on public streets. It may only
be used on private property. Observe all applicable national legal
rules and regulations!
• Use the device only on enclosed, private property as long as no
other regulation prohibits using it there.
• The minimum age for use is 14 years old.
• This device is intended for use by one driver only.
• The maximum driver weight is 120 kg.
• Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the
specifications.
• Do not use the product in areas where the use of electronic devices is
not permitted.
• Only use this product in dry locations. Although the product is
protected against splashes of water, it does not provide sufficient
protection against continuous water contact and can become damaged
as a result.

4.2. Performance limits

You must familiarise yourself with the performance limits of the product.
They have been calculated to maximise the driver's safety and to
minimise the risk of damage to the device.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight for the driver and carried loads
(maximum load capacity) or fail to meet the minimum driver weight
provided in the Technical Specifications [5.2] under any circumstance.
• Non-compliance of the performance limits can lead to unsafe driving
conditions. Factors requiring greater performance include:
- larger load capacities
(driver weight and all carried loads)
- steeper incline/slope
- rough terrain
- higher speeds
- abrupt manoeuvres
Warning
There is a greater risk of personal injury and damage to property if you
do not adhere to these weight limits, especially together with other
factors that require greater performance.
