• Connect the two measuring prods with the object to be measured.
• The measured value is indicated on the LC display.
• Remove the measuring lines from the object to be measured after completion of the measu-
rement and switch off the measuring device. For this, turn the adjustment wheel "6" into the
position "OFF".
f) Current measurement
Always hold only one conductor with the current injection probe. Holding
several conductors will not give you a measuring result.
The permanent magnetism of the current sensor may lead to a low current
being indicated in the LC display for current measurement even if no con-
ductor is held.
Manually set the displayed value to zero by pushing the button "8" for at
least 2 seconds. The LC display shows the value "ZERO" (only possible at
DC measurement).
• If present, remove the measuring lines from the meter before measuring current.
• Select the function for current measurement
Then a brief signal sounds.
• Open the probe sensor "1" with the opening lever "5", hold the conductor to be measured
and close the probe sensor "1" again.
• The measured current is indicated on the LC display.
• Take the probe sensor "1" from the conductor again after measurement and switch off the
meter. For this, turn the adjustment wheel "7" into the position "OFF".
