12. Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled bin logo requires the separate collection
of waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE). Such equipment
may contain dangerous and hazardous substances. These tools
must be returned to a designated collection point for the recycling of
WEEE and must not be disposed as unsorted municipal waste. By
doing so, you will help to conserve resources and protect the environ-
ment.
HORNBACH is committed in Germany:

when purchasing a new electrical or electronic device, to take
back an old device of the same type free of charge at a
HORNBACH store.
•
You can take back up to 3 old electrical or electronic devices of
the same type (up to a maximum edge length of 25 cm) free of
charge at a HORNBACH store, even without buying a new one.
•
When delivering a new electrical or electronic device to a private
household, to pick up an old device of the same type free of char-
ge or to enable you to return it in your immediate vicinity.

Children must not play with plastic bags and packaging material, due
to possible injury or danger of suff ocation. Store such material safely
or dispose of environmentally friendly.
