OPERATION - Before use for the first time
Remove the fan from the packaging.
OPERATION - Assembling the fan
1. Unscrew the locking ring (see figure 1, no. 4) from the motor-housing shaft (6) (by turning it anticlockwise)
and remove the ring from the shaft.
2. Fit the rear of the fan housing (5) onto the motor-housing (7), making sure that the openings are aligned
precisely with the lugs on the motor housing and that the grip is at the top.
3. Slide the locking ring (4) onto the shaft, and screw it tight (clockwise).
4. Slide the fan blades (3) onto the shaft.
5. Fit the spinner (2) onto the shaft and tighten it (anticlockwise) whilst preventing the fan blades from
moving.
6. The rim has five clamps. Carefully fit the rim around the rear half of the fan housing, making sure that
the housing falls into the upper clamp of the rim, so that you can connect the two halfs of the fan housing
with the nut and bolt (14). Use a crosshead screwdriver.
7. Close the other clamps.
