7. Place the cable around the neck (front loading) or the hind legs (back loading) of the carcass and secure
it by attaching it to the hooks. For better results when attaching the carcass by the neck, install the hook
slightly under the head so that it is first pulled up. This will help avoiding obstacles such as troughs and
edges of aisles.
When using a synthetic cable, align the hook with the protective sheath (shown
!
above) to extend its lifespan. Without the sheath, the hook can damage the cable
CAUTION
prematurely.
8. By simply lifting the lock rod from the swivel base, rotate the inclinable telescopic arm to the proper
angle so that the slide is aligned with the carcass. Leave the swivel base unlocked to facilitate winching
and transport.
