o During the warming period, the PIR will not be activated. It is
recommended that you stay away from the detection area
during this period.
o After the warming period is over, the light will turn off and the
PIR will be ready for installation.

On the CTC1000 control panel, go to the Add Device menu
(see chapter Managing devices in the control panel manual).
3.
On the sensor, press the test button (= the LED on the front).
4.
Refer to the control panel user manual to complete the learn-in
process.
5.
When done, put the control panel in walk test mode (see section
Walk test in chapter Configuration in the control panel manual).
6.
Hold the PIR in the desired location and press the test button to
check whether the location is within range of the control panel.
7.
When the sensor works at the location you chose, you can start
mounting the sensor.

Mounting
Depending on the location you have chosen (wall or corner):
Wall mounting
The base has two recesses where the plastic is thinner for mounting
purposes. To mount the sensor:
1.
Remove the fixing screw and separate the two parts.
2.
Break through the recesses on the back.
3.
Using the holes as a template, drill holes in the wall.
4.
Insert the wall plugs if fixing it into plaster or brick.
5.
Attach the base onto the wall plugs using the included screws.
6.
Attach the cover to the base.
Corner mounting
The corner bracket has two recesses where the plastic is thinner for
mounting purposes. To mount the sensor:
1.
Break through the two recesses on the triangular bracket.
2.
Using the two holes as a template, drill holes in the surface of
the corner
3.
Insert the wall plugs.
4.
Screw the bracket into the wall plugs with the two pointing
sticks on top.
