Remote start of a vehicle engine
Danger when working near to car batteries (lead acid).
Batteries build up explosive gases during

operation.
¾ Wear suitable protective clothing and eye
protection.
¾ Never smoke around the batteries, hold naked
flames to them, and avoid spark development.
¾ Do not use the device while it is connected to the charger!
¾ Always charge the device completely prior to use, since the
internal battery can otherwise be damaged.
¾ Clean the connections (battery terminals and cable
connections) before jump starting.
¾ Ensure that the jump leads are connected to the positive and
negative terminals correctly [11].
¾ Only use with vehicles with 12 V on-board voltage.
▸ Check that all vehicle loads (radio, headlamps, etc.) are swit-
ched off.
▸ Switch off the vehicle ignition and pull the ignition key.
▸ Check that the device is switched off.
3 The LED On/Off indicator (white) [1] is switched off.
▸ Connect the device to the jump lead.
▸ First, connect the red positive terminal to the positive terminal of
the vehicle battery.
▸ Then connect the black clamp to a suitable earthing point on
the vehicle body or, alternatively, to the negative terminal of the
vehicle battery.
▸ Press the On/Off switch [2].
3 All LEDs flash.
3 If the vehicle battery is properly connected to the device, the
boost LED lights up (white) [5].
▸ Start the vehicle engine.
