Ensure you use an appropriately rated AC power cord only. Do not use an extension cord.
Advanced Gateway 2330 grounding specifications
The Advanced Gateway 2330 ships with a grounding lug. You must connect your ground wire
to the lug, and attach the lug to the chassis in the right-hand side of the front panel. You must
attach the other end of the ground wire to the most convenient site grounding point for your
installation. Use a maximum of 8 AWG grounding cable for the Advanced Gateway 2330.
Important:
Avaya recommends that you install the chassis in the equipment rack before you install the
ground lug and the optional external interface modules.
Connecting the Advanced Gateway 2330 to AC power
Required cable: AC power cord that meets the requirements of your local electrical code. Refer
to the following table for plug specifications.
Connect the AC power cord to the front of the Advanced Gateway 2330, and then connect the
cord to a power outlet. Ensure that you use the correct power cord for the router and power
supply.
