4. When the milk starts to flow.
As a reminder, the breast pump switches to the expression phase a�er 2 minutes with the speed of 105
cycles per minute and vaccum at level 3 (Refer to table at page 18).
a. Press the
bu�on to start the expression mode.
b. Adjust the power to a comfortable se�ng to start expressing milk. Choose among the 12 levels
The screen will indicate the op�on.
c. Adjust the breast pump speed depending on the flow of your milk and to your comfort (L6 to L1).
VI. STORING BREAST MILK
Maternal breast milk provides your baby with the right amount of vitamins, mineral salts, trace elements,
sugar, fat and proteins in order to grow and develop in a healthy way. Store and thaw your breast milk
appropriately in order to preserve your breast milk's nutri�onal quali�es and to minimise bacterial
contamina�on.
Breast milk can be preserved in the collec�on cup or bo�le provided as part of your breast pump kit, or in
freezer-safe containers and bags. Mark the date and hour at which you collected your breast milk on the
container before storing it.

1- Never fill bo�les / bags more than ¾ full to allow space for possible expansion.
2- Label the bo�le / bag with the date on which you expressed the milk.
3- Do not store breast milk in the refrigerator door. Store it in the lower back area of the refrigerator, where
the temperature is coldest.
4- Do not heat your breast milk in the microwave or on a pot of boiling water (burning risk).
5- Defrost the breast milk in the refrigerator overnight or place it under a stream of warm water (37 degres
maximum).
6- Shake the bo�le gently to blend any fat that has separated.
7- For transport, use a small cooler with ice packs. Do not exceed 1 hour transport.
8- For premature or hospitalised babies, consult the healthcare professional accompanying your baby's
development or your local milk bank for milk preserva�on and storage advice
