Choice of consumables
Your printer has been specially tuned for optimal rendering on our selection of ink ribbons, labels and satin ribbons. Using other
consumables can degrade your printer's performance or damage it.
We recommend that you only use RibbOnDemand® brand consumables for your printer.
It is imperative to use an ink ribbon width at least as large as the printed medium (label, satin, ...).

If it is not covered by the ribbon, it will cause damage to the printer's printhead, which can not be
covered by the warranty.

Maintenance and problem solving
Regular maintenance avoids many printing problems and extends the life of the most sensitive parts.
Dust, ink residue, or glue on the print head and the pressure roller will affect the print quality and service life of these parts. This is
why the printer cover must always remain closed during printing.
It is also imperative to regularly clean your print head and pressure roller (black rubber roll at the exit of your printer) with a clean,
lint-free cloth soaked in alcohol. We recommend using the specially designed RibbOnDemand® cleaning swipes.
The print head and the pressure roller should be cleaned regularly (recommended frequency: after each ink ribbon).
