NOTICE: Use care during handling
not to touch or dirty the dome lens
on the Modular Emitter.
INSTALLING MODULAR EMITTER INTO D3 ROUGH-IN HOUSING
During replacement of the Modular Emitter, it is recommended to connect the
replacement Modular Emitter to the D3 power supply to prevent damage to the
Modular Emitter should it be accidentally dropped.
1.
Unlock the tilt lock by pulling it toward the fixture aperture. The tilt lock is
the red horizontal lever to the right or left side of the Light Engine.
Tilt the Light Engine to 40°.
2.
Unlock the rotation lock by pulling it toward the fixture aperture.
The rotation lock is the red vertical lever across from the Light Engine.
Rotate the Light Engine to allow access to the power supply.
3.
If a D3 power supply is already installed:
Remove power supply from docking station but leave wiring connected.
Place power supply inside D3 housing near aperture to provide easy access.
If D3 power supply is not installed:

Connect power supply wiring to housing and insert power supply into D3
housing near aperture. Do not install into docking station yet.
