he audio/video transmitter set consists of a transmitter and a receiver.

The sender receives the audio and video signals from the AV source device (e.g.
DVD player) and converts these into a 2.4 GHz radio signal. The receiver receives
this radio signal and converts it back to the original audio and video signals.
At the same time the receiver converts the infrared remote control signals into a
433 MHz radio signal and sends them back to the transmitter.
On the basis of the technology described above, both audio/video signals and the
control signals of infrared controls can be transmitted without cables and through
walls.
The signals of the AV source devices can that be reproduced in another room
through a device (e.g. TV set) positioned there and, in addition, the AV source devi-
ce can be controlled from there by means of its remote control.
