Tightening the stem latch
Ensuring your latch is properly
tightened helps ensure it does
not become loose over time. If the
latch is loose, follow these steps
to tighten it.
To adjust the stem latch tightness
First loosen screw 1 using a 3mm hex
key. Next adjust the tightness of the
latch by turning screw 2 a 1/8th turn
at a time using a flat head screwdriver.
If it is too tight, rotate the screw anti-
clockwise by a 1/8th turn to reduce the
tightness.
IMPORTANT
When you are happy the clamping force
is strong enough to ensure the latch
remains tight when closed, tighten down
screw 1 to lock in your changes.
