4. INSTALLATION
Unpacking the filter system
Carefully
remove
components
from
before starting the installation.
Caution for use :
Do not use with products containing
flocculant or PHMS / Active Oxygen,
risk of clogging the filter media. If this
happens, backwash and if necessary
machine wash the Aqualoon in cold
water.
INSTALLATION OF THE FILTER
To install the pump and filter, proceed as
follows:

• Never cover the pump and filter to
avoid overheating.
• The pump should not be placed above
all
product
the water level as it is not self- priming
the
packaging
and the risk of running dry or of air
bubbles not being visible is very high.
Damage resulting from dry running of
the pump is not covered by the warranty.
• Place the pump and filter on a flat,
stable base, in a place with sufficient
ventilation and protection from sunlight,
and easily accessible for maintenance
work, following the suggestions below.
• The filter must be installed vertically
at least 3.5 metres from the edge of the
pool and ensure that it cannot fall into
the water. Make sure that there is space
