Lamp positioning
General recommendations:
When the lamp is operating, the light should not
be obstructed or concealed by superstructures
or other objects.
The signal arrow should point
- right ahead for port / starboard lamps
- right astern for stern lamps.
Port and Starboard lamps:
Parallel to the vessel's centre line (see Fig.1)
and in a vertical position (see Fig.2).
Must be mounted in the same thwartships
position and at the same height above the
construction water line (CWL), but at least 1
metre lower than the masthead lamp. Lamps
should mark the effective beam of the vessel;
if this is not possible, the distance between the
side lamps should not be less than 85% of the
maximum beam of the vessel.
Stern lamps:
At right angles to the vessel's centre line
(see Fig. 1) and in a vertical position (see Fig.2).

LED modules are polarity conscious. Reverse polarity will not

Note: Lamp must be protected by a fuse rated at 3 amperes maximum.

This LED lamp is an electronic device. The electrical circuits contain components that
suppress possible interference, both emission as well as susceptibility, to the limits
prescribed in international regulations.
Protection against damage due to voltage spikes
This lamp is protected against reverse polarity connection and negative voltage spikes of up to 700 volts.

Etape 1 – Prévoir le passage du câble d'alimentation
Utiliser le boîtier comme gabarit pour marquer les trous
de fixation ainsi que le passage du câble.

Etape 2 - Monter le boîtier
2.1 Le boîtier doit être installé avec les repères
situés sur la surface horizontale SUPERIEURE.
2.2 La flèche sur le haut du boîtier doit pointer vers
l'avant pour les feux bâbord et tribord et vers
l'arrière pour le feu de poupe.
2.3 Utiliser deux éléments de fixation de type M5.

Etape 3 - Insérer l'ensemble optique
A noter – les flèches situées sur le haut du boîtier
et du module lumineux doivent pointer dans la même direction.
3.1 Passer le câble d'alimentation à travers le boîtier.
3.2 Pousser l'ensemble optique dans le boîtier
3.3 Brancher le câble d'alimentation

Insérer avec précaution 2 tournevis
entre l'ensemble optique et le boîtier.

Dégager le module lumineux.

ne contient pas de pièces pouvant être
remplacées.
