Transmission Reliability/Important Information

Transmission Reliability
®
With the Busch Transcontrol
HF, a special data format is transmitted which can
only be generated and evaluated by products from this family. Therefore, the
control state of HF Receiver 6866 AG cannot be influenced by cellular
telephones or other radio systems.
However, electromagnetic interference fields produced by other transmitters,
high-voltage lines, electric machines, etc., have a range-reducing effect. Buildings
(e.g., reinforced concrete) can also reduce the range of the radio system. An
environment subject to electromagnetic interference is easily identified due to
the fact that the LED of the HF Receiver 6866 AG remains illuminated after start-
up. The system can be optimised by choosing an appropriate location.
Important Information
The supply phase of HF Receiver 6866 AG is independent of the switched load
phase, consequently, multi-phase operation is permissible. In accordance with
the regulation DIN VDE 0100, fulfilment of the following requirements is
mandatory.
CAUTION DANGER!
If different phases are permitted for the supply phase and load output, it
must be ensured that, in the case of faults, or work on the unit, all poles are
disconnected.
This mode of operation is permissible only in Germany.
