SET-UP GUIDE
For ELECTRONIC BOTTLE FILLER
FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS ARE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
• UNFILTERED unit
• 20 second maximum run time
• Units of gallons (when program is set as "FILTERED" unit)
You can change program settings by doing a long button press from
the home screen showing number of bottles refilled.
GALLONS TO LITRES
To change units from gallons to litres, hold push button down for 3 seconds and then
after display shows "LITER/GAL" again hold push button for 3 seconds to toggle
between litre and gallon.
FOR THE ELECTRONIC models, KEPWEBF and KEPWSMEBF. The top cap will
need to be set aside until programming is complete. Remove top cap by unscrewing
two (2) T15 torx screws if needed. Remove the wire fastener from around the push
button wire bundle inside of the bottle filler and feed the wire bundle through hole in
cooler top. You can then adjust program using push button through access panel of cooler.
For the KEMWEBF: Remove lower front panel (if applicable) or lift out lower edge of upper panel to reach remote toggle
button.
PROGRAM SETTINGS
To change the program settings, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold push button for about 3 seconds to enter program mode with screen showing "LITER/GAL". Pressing but-
ton again for an instant will advance to next menu setting screen showing "UNFILT/FILTERED?"
It will revert back to home screen if no button is pressed for 10 seconds.
2. Do a long press followed by short press so the screen displays "UNFILT/FILTERED?". The default setting is
"UNFILTERED" and can be toggled to "FILTERED" by doing one long button press. Do one short press to advance to next
screen "SELECT FLOW RATE". The default setting is 1.2gpm. To leave flow rate as is to default, do one long button press
followed by another long button press. Alternatively, to set a new flow rate, do a short button press to change the first
digit. Do a long button press to set the choice of first digit. Similarly, do short button presses to change the first decimal
digit followed by a long button press to set the choice of this first decimal digit.
3. If you wish to reset filter life counter, press and hold button for 3 seconds when this question appears on screen.
4. Default capacity for filter life counter is 1250 gallons [4731 litres] for the older "Versafilter" kit. Do long button press in
"FILTER CAPACITY OF" screen to change setting to 3000 gallons [11355 liters] for Galaxi® green filter media. If you wish to
change the bottle increment criteria you can press and hold to toggle between time, such as "3sec" or volume, such as "0.5 L".
Do a short button press to go to next screen. If you wish to reset the bottle counter, press and hold button for 3 seconds when
this question appears.
5. "Bottle Filler Set_time" screen is to adjust maximum run time once sensor is activated. Water flow will stop once
container is removed from alcove.
6. Every time the power reboots, the bottle sensor automatically recalibrates itself. IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE NO OBJECT
PRESENT INSIDE OR NEAR ALCOVE EVERY TIME UNIT REBOOTS SO THAT SENSOR CALIBRATION IS DONE CORRECTLY. If
bottle sensing issues persist, the unit can be manually calibrated by toggling through the display menu to
"CAL: 00, XXXXX", then hold down push button for 3 seconds. After hearing beep insert a clear plastic bottle of size
500ml, held into centre of alcove for 1 second. Then remove bottle and press push button once and wait 10 seconds to
return to main menu.
7. Put top cap or access panel back on and fasten in place.
