Equipment with Refrigerants:
R290 (Propane)
•
The refrigerant R290 (PROPANE) is classified in the A3 (flammables and
explosives) refrigerant group, according to the regulation DIN EN 378-1. In
certain limits, this can trigger an exothermic reaction with air and a
corresponding ignition energy (source of ignition)!
•
The equipments using refrigerants like R290 are marked with the
warning label
must be performed by qualified personnel in combustible and
fluorinated refrigerant!
R404a
WARNING
• The R404a (44% R125, 4% R134a, 52% R143a) refrigerant agent used is
included in the Kyoto Protocol.
• This is a non-flammable gas. If released into the atmosphere, it contributes
to global warming.
• This gas must always be recovered.
