INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MOUNTING THE RECESS BOX
1) Unit must be positioned at least 6" (15.3 cm) away from any adjacent horizontal
or vertical surface. This minimum distance must be maintained. (Fig.A).
2) Once the mounting position is decided, make the opening space in wall : 8.25" W
x 14.5" H x 4" D (36.8 x 21 x 10.2 cm) for the recess box. (Fig.C).
3) Drill 6 holes in wall as shown in Fig. C. Install the recess box with 4 mounting
screws and wall anchors.
4) Remove the electric knockout and secure the wire by using the strain relief
connector and leave 6" (15.3 cm) of wire leads in the recess box. (Fig.B).

MOUNT THE HEATER
Insert the heater into the recess box and secure in place with screws provided.
ELECTRICAL WIRING
• The heater must be installed by a certified electrician and in accordance with all local
and national electrical codes.
