between Dialock MDU and Terminal using the infra-red interface

Note:
Condition: the first start-up (programming and deleting keys have
been allocated) of the terminal or a RESET of the terminal must have
been carried out.
The MDU key supplied is required to activate the communication
mode on the terminal.
To carry out an exchange of data between the Dialock MDU and the ter-
minal, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the Dialock MDU on
2. Select the desired menu and function with the arrow keys.
3. If the terminal is not permanently switched on (e.g. wall terminal),
 switch terminal on. Red LED lights up.
4. Activate communication mode on terminal:
Hold the MDU key in front of the terminal.
Both LEDs on the terminal flash alternately red and green. Confirm the
operation by holding the green programming key stick or a privileged
personnel key in front of the terminal.
The red and green LEDs light up.
