7. Installation and prior checks
7.1.
Component Checks
Once the packaging has been removed, check that the GASFIND analyser and its accessories are intact and
free from damage. If this is not the case, contact SNDC immediately.
Make sure that the following accessories are present:

LP R134a coupler

LP R1234yf coupler

7.2.
Using the analyser for the first time
The GASFIND analyser is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery. The battery should be charged for a
minimum of two hours before using the analyser for the first time. This should be done using a 12Vdc 3A
adaptor (not included). It is possible to use the GASFIND analyser while the battery is being charged.
7.3.
Turning on the analyser
Once you have checked that the equipment is in good condition, start the GASFIND analyser by pressing
the green 'Start/Stop' button.
The touchscreen panel will need around 30 seconds before lighting up.

Safety reminders

Always ensure that all necessary operating conditions have been met before using the GASFIND
analyser.
•
Always use the GASFIND analyser in a well-ventilated area. If you are using the analyser inside a
vehicle, ensure that there is good ventilation and air circulation.
•
Always check that the analyser and test hose are in good condition before use.
•
For complete safety, always wear the necessary protective equipment when using the analyser.
•
Keep an appropriate fire extinguisher near the place where the analyser is used and stored.
•
When recharging the analyser battery, always use an appropriate charger connected to a grounded
power source that conforms with current electrical supply regulations.
•
Ensure that the GASFIND analyser is placed on a flat surface to avoid it from tipping over or falling.
