5b). For anchorage reasons, the output relay cable must be routed through the
labyrinth designed for this purpose (see Fig. 5b).
In case of an installation where cabling is outdoors, it must be installed inside a
EN
cable ducting system with IP4X protection degree classifi ed as "cable ducting with
access cover that can only be opened with a tool" according to UNE-EN 50.085-1:
Cable trunking systems and cabling ducting systems for electrical installations-
Part 1: General requirements.
START UP
Pairing
Follow the steps below to link all devices:
1. Power up the receiver to automatically start a 2-minute window to pair with up
to 4 AIRSENS RF units. During this time, the bi-color D5 LED (see Fig. 1) will
fl ash in red and turn fi xed green when the time has expired. If you do not have
enough time to carry out all pairings, the REC.AIRSENS RF receiver must be
disconnected and connect again to have an additional 2-minute window.
2. Pairing will be done by pressing the S2 button on each AIRSENS RF transmit-
ter to be paired (see Fig. 2). For more details read AIRSENS RF instruction
manual.
3. When pairing action is successful, one the D1 – D4 LEDs on the REC.AIRSENS
RF will illuminate on fi xed green. The same number of LEDs should be active
as the AIRSENS RF paired.
Communication
Communication between transmitter and receiver, AIRSENS RF and REC.AIRS-
ENS RF, is updated every minute. In case of miscommunication, the receiver will
make three new attempts to communicate with the transmitter during the next
three minutes. After this time, if miscommunication remains, the D1-D4 LED
corresponding to transmitter with problems will start to fl ash indicating commu-
nication failure. Reasons could be lack of radio frequency coverage, transmitter
tuned off or removed from the installation. In case of a permanent AIRSENS RF
unit uninstall, a reset of all paired transmitters will be necessary to set a new
pairing process and avoid a continuous call to a non-existent AIRSENS from REC.
AIRSENS RF. See RESET / TRANSMITTER ERASE
A coverage test can be performed by forcing communication from an AIRSENS
RF transmitter. To do this, press the S2 button (see Fig. 2) on the transmitter and
observe 5-times fl ashes of D17 LED (see Fig. 2) indicating correct coverage and
communication. The absence of any fl ash will signal a communication failure.
