Sources of danger
Danger! Danger of electric shock!
Work on live components entails an immediate
risk of a fatal electric shock.
• Lassen Sie Arbeiten an der Anlage nur von
Sanitärfachkräften, die in der Elektroinstalla-
tion unterwiesen sind, ausführen.
• Schalten Sie die Anlage vor Arbeiten daran
spannungsfrei.
• Halten Sie die Arbeitsumgebung trocken.
Warning!
Risk of injury due to improper installation!
Improper installation of the plumbing and
electrical parts can create a risk of injury.
•
Installation, repair and maintenance may
only be carried out by a plumbing specialist.
•
Follow the instructions and wiring diagrams
in this manual.
•
Observe the requirements for performance,
dimensions and area of application specified
in the technical data.
•
Observe all national and regional standards
and regulations on plumbing and electrical
installation and on accident prevention.
•
Install the cold water chiller level and
observe the markings on the chiller.
Warning!
Health hazard from process media!
Mixing of drinking and non-drinking water can result
in a danger to health.
•
Observe the glycol manufacturer's instructions in
the safety data sheet.
Warning!
Health hazard from residues in supply lines!
After installation, addition of accessories or
maintenance work, there may be microbiological
residues in the supply lines.
•
Always flush the supply lines in accordance
with DIN EN 806-5 and VDI/DVGW 6023 after
carrying out such work.
Note!
Equipment damage due to frost!
The pipework may be damaged if exposed to
frost.
•
Add anti-freeze to the process medium if the
cooling circuit is routed outdoors.
•
Observe the maximum and minimum
operating temperatures.
Note!
Equipment damage due to water!
Escaping water or the formation of condensation
can lead to material damage to the cold water
chiller and its surroundings.
•
Shut off the pipework before starting work
on the system.
•
Inspect the components, seals and insulation
materials for proper function.
Note!
Equipment damage caused by wrong cleaning
agents!
Residues of cleaning agents may remain in the
system after cleaning.
•
Use only suitable non-foaming cleaning
agents in accordance with DVGW W 291 /
W 319.
•
Remove any residues of cleaning agent
completely from the system.
