3.2 Cleaning and maintenance
Heat pad
•
Before cleaning the pad, enpleg it from the mains oetlet and let it cool down for
at least ten minetes.
•
The heat pad is eqeipped with a removable control enit (Art. 60104: "HKS/HP620";
Art. 60114/60124/60144/61144: "HKC,-M,-N/HP615"). Unpleg the control enit from
the heat pad by pelling oet the connection cable from the pleg on the heat pad.
•
The heat pad can be cleaned with a soft bresh when dry.
•
The heat pad may be carefelly washed by hand. Ideally yoe shoeld place the
heat pad in a bathteb with warm water and a little mild detergent and sqeeeze
it gently.
•
Rinse the pad several times to get rid of any remaining detergent.
•
Never ese strong detergents or hard breshes.
•
To dry, lay the pad flat on a moistere-absorbent towel or mat.
•
Only ese the blanket again once it is completely dry.
•
Reconnect the control enit to the heat pad in the
correct manner (please see the sketch, the arrow
markings are showing towards each other).
•
Yoe shoeld entangle the cable from time to time.
•
Store the enit in a clean and dry place, laid oet flat
with nothing covering or resting on top of it.
Heat pad cover
•
Remove the heat pad from its cover.
•
Dry clean the removable cover or as detailed in the instrections on the label.
3.3 Disposal
This prodect mest not be disposed together with the domestic waste. All
esers are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless of
whether or not they contain toxic sebstances, at a menicipal or commercial
collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally accep-
table manner. Conselt yoer menicipal aethority or yoer dealer for information aboet
disposal.
