5.2 Product description

• Decentralised heat recovery unit with air@home con-
trol.
• Integrated Ethernet interface for linking to networks and
for operational monitoring and control via the free
air@home app (Android / iOS) or www.air-home.de web
tool.
• Integrated USB-B socket for configuring the geniovent.x
unit using free commissioning software on a laptop / PC.
• CO2 sensor for demand-driven ventilation integrated as
standard.
• Low energy consumption thanks to 3-D impellers that
are bent backwards. Degree of heat provision up to 95
%.
• Fans, with particularly energy-saving DC motors.
• Supply air and exhaust air volumes for ventilation levels
1, 2 and 3 can be set separately. Air volumes can be set
in continuously variable manner.
• Volumetric flow ranges of 150...560 m³/h and 200...830
m³/h.
• The highest permitted resistance in the channel system
at maximum ventilation power is 50 Pa. Increased resist-
ance in the channel system reduces the ventilation
power.
• The unit covers should be opened with a tool.

• Simple filter replacement, filter is freely accessible once
the covers have been opened. Pollen filter of filter class
ePM1 55% (F7) in the outside air and air filter of filter

• Frost protection monitoring prevents the heat exchanger
from freezing at low outdoor temperatures.

• Cross-counterflow heat exchanger (variant G): For trans-

ferring exhaust air heat to the supply air.
• Enthalpy heat exchanger (variant E): In addition to heat,
the heat exchanger recovers some of the humidity from
the room.
• Bypass: Used to bypass the heat exchanger. On summer
nights, for example, slightly cooler air can be blown in.
• 2x DN 250 duct connections.
• All units with cross-counterflow heat exchanger (variant
G) are equipped with a condensate lift pump. The con-
nection diameter is 7 mm (inside), 10 mm (outside).
• RB-ZF4 control panel (item no. 0043.0570, included 1x in
the scope of delivery) with the functions: On/off, 4
levels, filter replacement and fault display.

Function: Condensate collects in the stainless
steel condensate tank.

Function: Pumps the collected condensate out of
the ventilation unit (hose in outgoing air socket).
