5. Install hitch – Raise hitch into position, raising the passenger's
side hitch bracket above the exhaust first, then raise the driver's
side into position.
7. Bolt tightening sequence - First, only hand tighten bottom
bolts (1 per side), snug until hitch mounting surface is flush
against bottom of frame, both sides. - Next, tighten (4) horizontal
attachment bolts, (2) per side, with torque wrench as specified so
hitch brackets are flush against the inside of frame rails, both
sides. - Final, torque bottom bolts to proper specification. 76 Lb.-

6. Install fasteners – Loosely install six (6) M12 bolts and 1/2"
conical washers into existing weldnuts in frame rails, (3) per side.
See Figure 1.
8. Raise exhaust - Raise exhaust back into position and reattach
rubber hangers.
