Guidance for Seasonal and Holiday lighting sets.
Follow these and any other instruction provided by
the manufacturer, it is for your safety.
1. Install the lighting chains so that there is easy access
to the socket-outlet so that the lights can be turned
off when you go out or go to bed. Never leave lighting
chains on when you go out or go to bed.
2. Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in
the packing.
3. Ensure all lampholders are fitted with a lamp.
4. Ordinary lighting chains marked for indoor use shall
not be used outdoors.
5. Lighting chains which rely on gaskets to provide
protection against ingress of dust and moisture must
not be used without all gaskets being in place.
6. Make sure to follow the markings regarding series and
parallel connection of lighting strings.
7. Do not attempt to replace non-replaceable lamps.
