Brake Control Wiring Harness
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Locate the vehicles OEM brake
control socket within the electrical
fuse panel located behind the
emergency brake pedal (Fig. 1).
Remove the plastic cover to access
the socket located on the left side
of the panel, second from the top.
The socket will be designed to mate
with the connector on the Brake
Control Harness (Fig. 2). Refer to
the vehicles owners manual for
additional information in locating
this connector.
3. Connect the Brake Control
Harness wires to the wires on the Electric Brake Control
(not supplied) in the following manner by using the butt
connectors (provided):
Adapter
Black
White
Red
Blue
Brake Control
Black
White
Red
Blue
Function
12v (+)
Ground (-)
Brake Signal from Vehicle
Brake Power to Trailer
