Adjustment Screw
1. With the adjustment screw (1) you can adjust the position of
the stone in the machine. This way the pressure with which
the stone is forced against the drill bit is set.
2. Turn the screw to the left to lower the stone. Turn the screw to
the right to raise the stone. Do not raise the stone too much;
otherwise it may hit the housing.
Operation
1. Place the unit on a flat, level, stable surface and plug the
power plug into a suitable socket.
2. Use the switch (6) to turn the unit on and allow it to run for a
few moments. Make sure it operates normally. Do not start
sharpening before the unit has reached its operating speed.
During operation the LED (7) lights up.
3. Insert the drill to be sharpened into the positioning hole of
corresponding dimensions. Apply light pressure and repeated-
ly rotate for several times, after withdrawal rotate by 180° and
re-insert into the positioning hole. Repeat the procedure until
the drill is satisfyingly sharp.
Removing the Chips
1. During normal operation the chips can be shaken out of the
collection bin through the discharge slot by tilting the unit
forward.
2. Occasionally the collection bin should be removed as
described below and cleaned.
