Be careful to slip.
The log splitter must always be used by one operator only.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, hoses
and packaging should be sorted, taken to the local recycling centre and disposed of in
an environmentally safe way.

1. WORK AREA
a. Select and keep the work area clean, free from obstructions (e.g. logs, split wood etc.)
and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
b. Do not operate log splitters in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Log splitters create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating the log splitter. Distractions can

cause you to lose control.
d. The surface must be perfectly level to prevent the machine from moving during
operation.
