Valve does not close or open
correctly or with the specified
lift
Actuator position does not
match valve position

Possible cause
Control pressure level not
selected correctly
Control air function and
connections do not match
Control air failure
Control air supply line or
outlet line blocked
Valve seized
Valve pin/stem broken or
twisted
Remedy
 Check the control
pressure
 Check the FC, FO, DA
functions and related
connections
 Switch on the control air
again
 Check that the control air
is connected correctly,
see Section 7.3
 Replace the valve
 Have the valve serviced or
repaired, see the user
instructions of the valve
manufacturer
 Replace the valve
