17 Settings of the handset (customisations)
Handset Name
The predefined name is "Handset 1". To change it, press MENU > TELEPHONE > HANDSET NAME.
Type in the customised name (max. 8 characters) and confirm by pressing OK.
To recover the predefined name of the handset ("HANDSET 1"), repeat the above sequence by deleting the customised name and
confirm by pressing OK.
Language of the menu
The predefined language must be selected at the first use of the telephone.
To change it, press MENU > TELEPHONE > LANGUAGE.
Using the
Automatic answer
When the automatic answer is active, upon any incoming call, if the handset is positioned on the base, it will be sufficient to lift it to answer.
When the automatic answer is not enabled, to answer a call it is always necessary to press any key.
Press MENU > HANDSET > AUTO ANSWER. By using the
and confirm by pressing OK.
Key Beep
Press MENU > HANDSET > SOUND > Key Beep.
To enable or disable the tones, played when keys are pressed on the handset (ON/OFF and confirm by pressing OK).
Modifying the handset PIN
The telephone PIN is needed to perform one of the 3 Reset types available for the handset (see the next paragraph).
Press MENU > HANDSET > PIN HANDSET.
Insert the current PIN of the handset (4 digits, the default pin is 0000) .
Insert the new PIN and press SAVE. The message "Stored !" will appear. Now the handset has its new PIN.
NOTE:
it is recommended to take note of the new code typed in, and to keep this information in a safe place.
Resetting the Handset
When resetting the handset the following information will be deleted:
SETTINGS: the handset settings reported under chapter 6 are re-established with the exception of the phonebook, the lists of

calls and the handset PIN, and the registration information of the handset in hand are kept in memory as well at the relevant
bases.

HANDSET: all settings related to the handset and reported under chapter 6 will be defaulted, including the information concer-
ning the bases where the handset has been registered. To perform one of the two types of reset above, press MENU > HANDSET
> SET DEFAULT. When requested, type in the handset PIN. The message "Reset all settings?" will appear, confirm the reset by
pressing the function key OK.
For correct use, after resetting the handset, switch the handset on and off again, resetting the language upon
switching on again.
Baby Monitor
Press MENU > EXTRA MENU > BABY MONITOR > MODE > EDIT.
