RENEW...................To install a new part after removing used part (which may be broken by removal).
R & R ......................To remove and reinstall the same part or a new part for replacement.
ADJUST ..................To make adjustment using necessary tools / instruments to restore to the normal
operating condition.
CHECK ...................To check part, as necessary, for any functional defects visually or with measuring
instruments.
CLEAN ....................To keep up the functions and performance of the parts, clean them up at service
intervals or as necessary.
CHANGE.................To replace lubricants and coolant.
OVERHAUL (O.H.) .To check specific component or subassembly by overhauling for any functional defect:
if defect is found, it is to be reconditioned completely.
